Eric Chow OD, FAAO, FOVDR

Optometric Physician

Dr. Eric Chow earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. John's University and his Doctor of Optometry from SUNY College of Optometry in New York, followed by a specialized residency in pediatrics, binocular vision, and vision therapy at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. He subsequently served on staff in the Ophthalmology Department at Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Miami before founding Miami Vision Therapy, where he specializes in developmental vision, pediatric eye care, binocular vision, vision therapy, visual perceptual testing, and neuro-optometric vision rehabilitation for both acquired and traumatic brain injury.

Patient Care Coordinator

Ana was born in Cuba and moved to Miami at a young age, where she developed a strong sense of community and a passion for helping others. She is currently pursuing a degree in Communications and Public Relations, combining her academic interests with her professional experience in patient care.

Frank is originally from El Salvador and approaches his work with genuine passion. He enjoys helping others and prides himself on being an enthusiastic, reliable professional.

Our Therapists

A vision therapist is a trained professional who implements individualized therapy programs to enhance visual skills and processing. Using specialized techniques and tools, they address issues such as eye tracking, focusing, and coordination, helping patients overcome challenges related to learning, development, or recovery from injury. Vision therapists play a vital role in empowering patients to achieve optimal visual function and improve their overall quality of life.

Gisselle Reyes

Vision Therapist

Gisselle, a Miami native, is currently pursuing a degree in Health Services Administration. She initially attended nursing school and soon after began her career in the field of optometry. With over three years of experience in optometry, Gisselle now applies her skills and expertise to help manage our vision therapy office.

Shirleys Duenas

Vision Therapist

Shirleys was born in Ecuador and lived in New Jersey for 13 years before moving to Miami. With a natural curiosity about how things work, she initially aspired to become an engineer during her junior year of high school. She began college as a biomedical engineering major but soon discovered her true passion was in helping others, prompting a shift in her career focus to therapy.

Natali, a Miami native, earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida International University. Having personally experienced the benefits of vision therapy, she brings a compassionate and individualized approach to treatment, recognizing the unique needs of each patient. Natali is deeply passionate about helping others and is committed to continuous education and professional growth.

Brenda Day

Vision Therapist

Brenda, a Miami native, has earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida International University. Furthering her education onward, Brenda is pursuing her master’s in Speech Language Pathology where she accomplished her undergraduate degree.
Jackie Colmenares

Vision Therapist

Jackie was born in Venezuela and later moved to Miami, where she discovered her passion for understanding how people think and learn. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology, with her favorite class being Psychology for Personal Effectiveness.
